- Making decisions out of loneliness
- Isolating yourself from friends and family during a relationship
- Failing to define the terms of the relationship
- Assuming someone holds similar values as you.
- Mistaking sex for intimacy or confusing lust for love
- Using sex as a band-aid for dealing with problems
- Not trusting your gut instincts
