1. Kelela

Ever since her EP release of Hallucinogen in October, Kelela has been a rising singer and songwriter to watch out for. She has yet to release a full-length album, but we’re excited to vibe out to her tunes when she hits the stage at FYF Fest.

2. Vince Staples

Vince is a huge inspiration to kids coming up who want to do positive things in their community. His debut album Summertime 06’ brought a different perspective that many have yet to provide. He’s scheduled to release an EP titled Prima Donna on the 29th with guest features from Kilo Kish and A$AP Rocky. Hopefully one or both of them make a surprise appearance during his set!

3. Kamaiyah

This 24 year-old rapper from Oakland, CA has been on a steady rise since her debut project A Good Night In The Ghetto. Kamaiyah has a guest feature on YG’s popular single “Why You Always Hatin'” that also features the boy himself, Drake. A track that we’re looking forward to hearing live is “How Does It Feel,” because it truly embodies the feels of summer.

4. Rae Sremmurd

There’s really not much to say here. Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi always know how to turn up a function, and FYF Fest will be no different. With Sremmlife 2 released earlier this month, look for the pair to have the stage turnt up a couple of notches with songs from both albums.

5. Kendrick Lamar

King Kendrick is a headliner on the first day of FYF Fest! We’re looking forward to watching him perform both his smash hit “Alright” and others such as “Levitate.” With albums like good kid, m.A.A.d city and To Pimp a Butterfly under his belt, it really won’t matter what Kendrick performs, he’ll have the crowd on their feet all night.
