As a California girl, nothing eases my stressful days more than good Mexican food. There’s something about eating perfectly seasoned carne asada or bistec that puts me at peace. I discovered La Plaza during my first summer in DC as an intern on Capitol Hill. If you’re looking for somewhere to fuel up after touring the grounds of Congress, head to La Plaza.

Your girl lives for brunches and foodie excursions. I am always looking for the next undiscovered spot. If you know of other great restaurants to try in DC/the DMV, let us know on twitter or drop a line below in the comments! Check back to see if your spot makes our next list.
