Bill Cosby has lost another attorney on his legal team. Washington, D.C.-based lawyer Monique Pressley announced in court filings that she will no longer be representing Cosby in his high-profile sexual assault case.
According to a report in Time magazine, Pressley, who received attention for her defense of 79-year-old Cosby on news outlets last year, has been replaced by Angela Agrusa, the head of litigation of Los Angeles and New York City firm, Liner L.L.P.
As of now, Pressley hasn’t issued a statement on her exit from the team. But she’s the second attorney to leave in the past year, following the dismissal of main attorney Christopher Tayback.
Cosby is currently facing three felony charges of second-degree aggravated indecent assault, along with multiple civil suits.
