If there’s one positive thing to come from the dumpster fire we call 2016, it’s good music. Tuesday morning, the nominees for the 59th annual Grammy Awards were announced and guess who’s leading the pack? Beyoncé’! Her sixth studio album Lemonade scored an impressive nine nominations including the big three: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. The latter two are for her lead single, “Formation.”

Other notable entries include Drake, Kanye West, and Rihanna who all received eight nominations each. Chance the Rapper also came through with seven nods, including Best New Artist, which pits him against another fave, Anderson Paak. Speaking of newbies, Desiigner hummed his way to a Best Rap Performance nomination for "Panda," alongside Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All The Way Up.” Talk about a comeback!
