On June 21, 2015, melanin assembled from around the world and took over social media in the form of selfies for another edition of  #BlackOutDay. #BlackOut was created by the Tumblr user expect-the-greatest, and the current Blackout team consists of users blkoutqeen, expect-the-greatest and nukirk.
