At this point, it's pretty clear that the earth is Chancellor Bennett's oyster.

Chance the Rapper can now add author to his extensive resume. It has been revealed that he has written the foreword for an upcoming book of poetry called, A People's History of Chicago, from Chicago writer and activist, Kevin Coval.

According to the book's description, it "celebrates the history of this great American city from the perspective of those on the margins, whose stories often go untold. These seventy-seven poems (for the city’s seventy-seven neighborhoods) honor the everyday lives and enduring resistance of the city’s workers, poor people, and people of color, whose cultural and political revolutions continue to shape the social landscape."

The book is set for release on April 11, 2017, for $9.99 as an eBook and $17 in paperback form. Learn more at Haymarket Books
