Regarding her latest video, Coco Mamba says, “‘Humble Yourself’ is a message to people who let their talent and successes inflate their ego. I’ve been working within the NYC creative scene for the past few years, and I’ve also experienced a lot of people who let their likes and follower base on social media consume them. They use their popularity to sort of justify being obnoxious to the people who support them, and I don’t think that’s cool.”

“The song is generally directed to people who act like this, but there are also parts in the song where I’m talking to and about myself. I’ve had moments where I’ve let small successes get to my head. I’m sure we all have – we’re human. I shot the video for the song in Virginia because whenever I have these moments, where I kind of feel like I’m losing touch with myself, I go back home to Virginia Beach and spend some time with my family. They are the quickest ones to tell me about myself and put me in check, and I kind of want this song to serve as that reality check for other people.”
