You might have noticed coloring books for adults filling the shelves of your favorite bookstores. Slightly more intricate than the books you doodled in during kindergarten, adult coloring books are a source of stress relief and serve as a creative outlet for many. Botanical masterpieces, complex patterns, and skyscrapers are just some of the subjects popular in the coloring book world, but designer and educator Andrea Pippins has created one filled with gorgeous illustrations of natural hair, aptly titled I Love My Hair: A Coloring Book of Braids, Coils and Doodle Dos.

Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Coloring Book by Johanna Basford was one of the first adult coloring books to take the world by storm. Nearly 6 million copies have sold so far, and it helped pave the way for books like I Love My Hair to exist. Designs for the natural-hair-themed coloring book include hair in all shapes and sizes, hair accessories like barrettes and headbands, braids, styling products and even cute renditions of styling tools such as combs and flat irons. The winding curls will have you in a relaxed, coloring trance. Invest in an affordable tool like this to help you learn to practice daily forms of meditation.

Pippins also runs a blog called Fly Girl Blog, where she occasionally includes free coloring downloads (in case you can’t wait for this book to come out on November 10). It also includes posts about trends, fashion, design, art, pop culture and even some fun DIY videos. Her creativity is contagious and we can’t wait to get our hands on I Love My Hair.
