The 2016 Tony Awards nominations are out and we’re pretty sure Danielle Brooks’ reaction is already a winner. She’s in the “Best Featured Actress in a Musical” category for her Broadway performance of Sophia in The Color Purple. When the news broke Tuesday morning, she posted a heartwarming video chat screenshot with her fellow cast to Instagram.

Calling myself a HOT MESS is an understatement when my cast called to congratulate me on my First Tony Nomination. ⬅️Say what?? I love my cast whole heartedly.
