Diddy received the honorary global icon award on Tuesday at the MTV Video Music Award show. His special night was full of love as he walked the pink carpet with four of his seven children. The legendary producer was all smiles as he posed alongside daughters D’Lila, Jessie and Chance and sons King and Justin Dior on the award show pre-carpet.

Before his iconic performance commemorating nearly three decades of work and productions, his children were asked about their dad’s upcoming album.

The Comb children had positive feedback regarding their father’s new R&B album. Chance, D’Lila and Jessie boasted about the body of work, saying the album leaves them feeling “like woah.” They also told E! how he is their biggest inspiration, and they couldn’t be more proud of all the work he put into the project.

“Oh my God, we can’t wait for it [the album],” D’Lila told ET on the pink carpet. “The best album of the year, guys. Like seriously, we’ve been listening to it for a year.”

It gives you that R&B, just like love [vibes],” Jessie added.

“We’re proud of everything he’s accomplished over all of these years,” Chance told E! News.
