The Star-Spangled Banner gets a redo in Hulu’s Onyx Collective documentary, Anthem, produced by Ryan Coogler.

In the exclusive clip below, several country artists sit together to ponder the question put in front of them–can the national anthem be rewritten for today, and is it even possible? Varying answers come up, but the consensus is that despite whether it’s possible, it’s worth trying.

Directed by Peter Nicks and produced by Nicks and Ryan Coogler via Coogler’s Proximity Media, Anthem takes viewers on a saga throughout the country to rediscover and redefine the national anthem. According to the official description:

Reflecting upon “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Anthem follows acclaimed composer Kris Bowers (“Bridgerton,” “When They See Us,” “King Richard”) and GRAMMY®-winning music producer Dahi (Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Drake) as they take a musical journey traveling across America to create a new sound, inspired by what our country’s national anthem might be if written in today’s time.

Kris Bowers, Sean Havey and Chris L. Jenkins also produce with R.J. Culter, Elise Perlstein, Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. The documentary stars Kris Bowers, Dahi, Joy Harjo, Ruby Amanfu, Charity Bowden and Cecilia Cassandra Peña-Govea.

Anthem is now available to stream on Hulu.
