Game of Thrones season 6 started off right where the last episode left off, and so did the timeline.
#DemThrones, started by podcaster @RodimusPrime has been the hashtag of choice for the community to talk GoT while the show is on air, when re-watching episodes, or just to talk fan theories in general. Even during the break, the hashtag, has been pretty active, but the season premiere got us all in formation and ready to go, because it was game time and practice drills were over. Here are some highlights from the timeline during season 6’s first episode.
HBO loves playing games with the teasers before the show starts.

The Game of Thrones theme song gets the people going.

Jon Snow’s killer snitching on himself and accomplices had us asking, “What part of the game is that?”
"Jon Snow is dead."
"Who killed him?!"
"I did."#GameofThrones #DemThrones pic.twitter.com/jauKrlYiHQ— Lauren Warren (@iamlaurenp) April 25, 2016
HOW YOU COMMIT TREASON THEN SNITCH ON YOURSELF AND AYEBODY?! #GameofThrones #DemThrones

When the king of Dorne and his son got caught slipping, we all had one collective thought.
I think the women in Dorne got an advance copy of #LEMONADE. #GameofThrones #DemThrones pic.twitter.com/PI5ZzThZI7

So if you were previously unfamiliar, join us next week for Game of Thrones and use the #DemThrones hashtag. And if you are now interested in watching the show because you know there’s a community there for you to tweet through it with, go back and watch the first 5 seasons before next weekend, because we don’t need you cluttering the timeline with a bunch of plot questions – and you’re welcome.
Also, Ava DuVernay has a question you need to answer, HBO.
I miss Khal Drogo soooo much. Can we get some more fine brothers on this show @HBO that have a life and a story arc. Please? #DemThrones
