Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has claimed victory in the first contest of the 2016 Presidential election. Clinton has defeated Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders who boasted strong support from young people leading up to Monday’s caucuses.

Hillary Clinton, impressively, wins amid several scandals including concerns about her usage of a private server for e-mails during her time as Secretary of State. Sanders, however, holds a strong lead in the next primary state of New Hampshire.

Also, in a sad turn of events, Governor Martin O’Malley is reportedly suspending his campaign following a presidential race that never picked up any steam.
