The Jamaican gymnast who went viral in March for balancing underneath the balance beam is going to the 2020 Olympics.

Danusia Francis qualified for the Tokyo games after her performance at the World Gymnastics Championships in Germany on Friday.

According to Jamaica Observer, Francis posted an overall score of 50.982 and became one of 20 gymnasts to qualify for the Olympics.

“I am so extremely happy that I will be representing Jamaica at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games," Francis told the Jamaica Observer. "It has been a dream of mine to compete at the Olympics since I started gymnastics when I was five years old, so to now have that dream come true 20 years later is just amazing.”

Earlier this year, she went viral for her performance to "X" by Nicky Jam and J. Balvin where she did a split under the balance beam.

Jamaicans.com reports Francis participated in all four events in the qualifying round at the World Gymnastics Championships and tallied a score of 13.5 in the vault and 12.35 for uneven bars, as well as 12.566 in both the balance beam and floor exercise events.

The 25-year-old who was born in the United Kingdom was a reserve athlete with Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics and a former member of the UCLA gymnastics team.

Francis won the 2016 NCAA balance beam championship at UCLA and was named All-American six times.

In 2013, the gymnast was named First-team All-American on beam and finished eighth at the event finals, becoming the first collegiate gymnast to successfully execute a sideways aerial on beam.

She also finished sixth in floor exercise when she competed with Great Britain at the 2013 World University Games, according to her Bio.

The Jamaican lists her favorite apparatus as the balance beam and names Usain Bolt as one of her favorite athletes. She considers her biggest thrill to be helping Great Britain qualify for the Olympics at the 2011 World Championships.
