Say what you want, but Kandi Burruss keeps her coins going in front of and behind the camera. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is opening up about another Bravo project, this time with her group members in Xscape and the members of R&B group SWV. The project is seemingly already done filming, and Burruss says there’s tons of drama.

Burruss on how the idea for the show came about

Burruss and her group members joined forces for an epic Verzuz battle against the trio last year. It gained tons of traction, leading to fans wanting more mashups between the two groups.

“We tried to do something different this time around. We wanted to have, like, you know, like with Versus I guess it inspired something for us to come together in a major way, to like be able to put our shows together and not just you know us performing on the same show, but actually merging the two performances together into one performance,” she said in a recent interview, as The Jasmine Brand reports.

Tiny says the groups had to put their egos aside, but the drama was plentiful

According to Tiny, filming the show with another group created “a lot of hell” and drama. “Yup. That’s why I’m saying it’s going to be a lot of hell, you know? You’ll get a chance to see all of that. I mean, you know, you got two powerful groups,” Tiny explained.

She added, “Two groups that have been doing their thing and successfully we all deserve a certain amount of respect.”

There’s no air date yet for the show. It marks Xscape’s second Bravo docuseries. Xscape: Still Kickin’ It chronicled the group’s reunion and the road to the Essence Music Festival after nearly 20 years of estrangement.
