New York fans missed two opportunities over the weekend to catch Kanye West grace the stage. The Governor’s Ball performance was canceled due to severe weather and his surprise appearance at Summer Jam was just too short. When word on the street hit that Yeezy would put on a surprise show at 2am in Webster Hall, surely crowds wouldn’t miss a third chance.

Then came this glimmer of hope.

Fans didn’t waste time, rushing to the venue.

Four-thousand plus people showed up, flooding the streets of NYC. The scene quickly turned riot-like, with people packing in extremely tight, pushing, climbing on top of any raised platform they could find, and other structures.

The Kan man tried to put in a call to the mayor for some help.

But the show still got cancelled.

Kanye still rolled through to at least say what’s up.

Hopefully, next time things are little safer, but without a doubt, it’s safe to say that people are still very interested in seeing Kanye West tear up the stage.
