There have been conversations on social media. Some viewers have complained about you being a floater sometimes and not sharing all you can about the details of your divorce and what’s been happening with your ex. Is there a fine line between what you share because you are on a reality show, and what do you want to show next season if you decide to return?

AD: Well, I understand the fans’ frustration because when I first started this process of being on Housewives, I was ready; I was an open book. I was ready to share it all, bear it all. I felt like I had a responsibility to do that. And I, it’s interesting because I think I started full force, where some of the other ladies maybe started a little more guarded and opened up more, and I did the opposite. I came out full frontal. And because of the nature of what’s been happening with my separation and my divorce, I’ve sort of had to pull back a little bit, and I don’t think people like seeing the other way.

I think they love the peeling of the onion, but they don’t like it when, all of a sudden, you close the onion back up. They don’t. That’s not how nature works. So it’s been interesting navigating that. But what I’ve ultimately decided is that there’s more to me than just my marriage and my divorce. And so, as I naturally progress and continue on in my life, that’s what I’m going to share. And my ex-husband is not the only part of me. That was just a fraction of my life, but I still have so much more to live. And hopefully, I get to share that with the fans who’ve been riding with me since Day 1.
