Before becoming the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama was already a change agent and force to be reckoned with. As a part of the Makers video collection of women’s stories, the First Lady discusses growing up on the Southside of Chicago and her journey to the White House. After graduating from Princeton University and Harvard Law School she went on to work at a Chicago law firm where she met President Obama. Despite the success she was experiencing, FLOTUS shares that she started to ask herself the tough questions of ” What do I really care about?” and “How do I give something back?”.

As First Lady, she has had lots of memorable experiences.
