#BlackGirlMagic alert. The 11-year-old entrepreneurial phenom, and Shark Tank alum, Makaila Ulmer told Whole Foods to cut the check.

Last year on the ABC reality television show, Ulmer made her presentation to the sharks and came away from the meeting with a business deal worth 60k from FUBU legend Daymond John.

Now, it’s time for the re-up. Makaila’s flaxseed lemonade, sweetened with honey, will now be available in over 50 Whole Foods across the United States, and her brand will now be distributed by United Natural Foods, the leading national distributor of natural, organic, and specialty foods in the country.

Elmer started this business to continue her great-grandmother Helen’s legacy, using her recipe for the lemonade, but also, to do her part in the preservation of life for honeybees, donating a portion of profits from sales to various organizations whose mission is to protect them.

In an interview she said, “Last year, beekeepers lost 40 percent of all their hives…Bees are dying…If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have four years of life left.”

Besides Ricky Ross, Makaila is the biggest boss here. The next time you’re in Whole Foods stocking up on snacks for the crib, try to find a bottle of BeeSweet and support #BlackGirlMagic.
