OWN is adding more drama to its primetime rotation. Greenleaf stars Lynn Whitfield, Keith David, Lamman Rucker and Merle Dandridge set in a Memphis megachurch. With a religious church draping, the drama is fueled with seduction, family secrets and all the theatrics one congregation can handle. The 13-episode series, executive produced by Oprah is set to premiere in June.

Grace Greenleaf (Dandridge) returns home after 20 years to bury her sister who died under mysterious circumstances. Her prominent parents Bishop James Greenleaf (David) and Lady Mae Greenleaf (Whitfield), at the helm of a booming congregation aren’t exactly what they appear to be despite their spiritual forefront. Oprah appears in Greenleaf as aunt Mavis, a blues club owner which is far from the family’s churchgoing image. Grace, torn between the truth and family will learn that the two do not go hand-in-hand.

Here’s a first look at the trailer.

This is what I've been working on… So excited for you all to finally see it! #Greenleaf coming to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network this June.
