There’s a lot of misinformation going on in the world, but there are people working to provide greater access to education, like Carla Hayden. And then there are the people celebrating those who are heavily misinformed, like Trump and his chumps. Take a look at the good, bad, and ugly moments of the week.
The Good – Dr. Carla Hayden nominated for Librarian of Congress
President Obama announced Dr. Carla Hayden as his nomination for the 14th Librarian of Congress.
Hayden is the first African American woman to hold the position. Twitter applauded in awe.
I’m over here tearing up. Man, I love our @POTUS! The Librarian of Congress nomineee is everything! https://t.co/xyP6J9Pvrx

Others rejoiced with a little political satire
Can’t believe Obama has the nerve to nominate a new Librarian of Congress during an election year

Is Obama allowed to nominate a Librarian of Congress in an election year?

@peterbakernyt She’ll be filibustered due to her radical views regarding the Dewey Decimal System and re-shelving.

Another smart move by our President during his final term.
The Bad – Trump stuns with win in Nevada
Trump won another primary and topped this insanity with an unnerving new quip.
Our country has become an SNL skit: https://t.co/UznUeYztMD

This left a trail of people searching for sense across social media.
This man legit said, ” I love the poorly educated”. If this doesn’t make you question the direction of this country ….😳

“We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.” The Republican front runner for POTUS. pic.twitter.com/9Sa38jS6Mv

“I love the poorly educated!” is a little too wordy for my liking. A simple “Thanks, dummies!” would have been more folksy.

“We won the poorly educated vote. I love the poorly educated” – Donald Trump saying stupid people made him a contender. And, they cheered.

The Ugly – Former klansman endorses Trump
Election 2016 turned uglier when former Grand Wizard David Duke announced his support of Donald Trump.
The man who ran for governor of Louisiana in 1991 spurred fright into the Twitterverse.
I actually though David Duke died when he was trending on Twitter but I was dissapointed he just endorsed Trump.

So, former KKK Grand Wizard, David Duke says that a vote against @realDonaldTrump is “treason.”
Yeah…that tells me all I need to know.— A Mind At Work (@adorkablekati) February 25, 2016
If I’m supporting a candidate that also has the backing of David Duke & the Klan, I take a look in the mirror at myself. But that’s just me
