Looks like J. Cole may find a role model after all. On Friday, March 11th, Cole will be the musical guest at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser with President Barack Obama serving as special guest. President Obama requested J. Cole’s presence at the event that will take place during SXSW next month.
The event will be held at the Austin Music Hall and hosted by whurley and will.i.am. Tickets for the event start at $250.
After meeting with Kendrick Lamar in the White House earlier this month, maybe President Obama can encourage Cole to work on the two rappers’ often rumored collaboration.
