If you see photos of President Obama walking around in dark shades later this spring, it’s not because the turn up is too real in his last year as commander-in-chief, instead he’s hiding teary eyes. Yes, President Obama says he’s bracing himself for Malia’s high school graduation. He says her school even asked him to make remarks during the ceremony.

During lunch at Jolly Pumpkin Brewery in Detroit on Wednesday, the President said he declined because he’s going to be in the audience, a little emotional watching his eldest daughter walk across the stage into this new chapter of her life.

We feel you, Mr. President. The Obama girls have grown up right before our eyes.
