The day has come when I’ve considered becoming a carpenter because a special seat needs to be built for Stacey Dash to have.

While her chronic verbal diarrhea is constantly spouting ignorant and offensive comments, she has now come for the transgender community. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stacey responded to a rebuttal of her comment that identifying as transgender isn’t a choice with, “Okay, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law…”

And, of course, Twitter went in.

People who spew hatred like Stacey have truly made me think about free speech versus censorship. Is it better to know where people stand, no matter how vile their thoughts may be or should we have a mute button for those who attack certain groups of people for no other reason than their own personal discomfort? This is an ongoing discourse where the line between free speech and hate speech is still being debated.

In her upcoming memoir, There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative, Stacey even takes aim at Lady Gaga’s anti-bullying campaign, claiming that the undercurrent of it is to push a “liberal agenda”. I can’t help but take a pause at her book title. These aren’t conservative values. They aren’t values at all.

When did Stacey Dash become the black poster-child for hate-mongering, and who is cutting her checks?
