After weeks of rumors surrounding why Tamar Braxton was fired from The Real, the songstress broke her silence. Thursday morning on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Tamar described to listeners what actually went down.
Tamar says her husband and manager, Vincent Herbert, made a call to producers of the show to discuss “glam for Essence Festival.” It was during this call that he was informed that she was being fired from the show. The producers did not go into detail or provide a reason for their decision to not keep her on the show. When asked by Harvey there had been any controversy leading up to the decision Braxton replied, “God no,” leaving us all to wonder if we will ever know the reasoning behind the decision to terminate Braxton.
Luckily for Braxton, she’s still winning! During the interview, she also announced to listeners that she will be returning to television with her own talk show, produced by Harvey’s production company. Although the show has not been picked up by a network just yet, it’s still good to see Tamar bounce back and slay like only she can.
