Ted Cruz made a grand exit Tuesday night from the Republican presidential race after his primary defeat in Indiana. The odds were far from his favor, needing 1,237 delegates to secure the nomination. Appearing before hundreds of his supporters, the Texas senator spoke with a somber tone announcing the news.
“So with a heavy heart but with boundless optimism for the long-term future of our nation, we are suspending our campaign,” Cruz said.

And then there was one.
Donald Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee.
As for the Dems, Bernie Sanders pulled out a win over Hillary Clinton. Despite her defeat, Clinton turned her attention to Trump.
