Since its debut in 2005, Nike has celebrated Black History Month with a collection of stylish sneakers commemorating black athletics and culture.

February is fast approaching, and Nike has announced this year’s collection of special edition shoes and apparel. The collection includes the Kobe 11, LeBron 13, KD8, Kyrie 2 and more, all offering the very aesthetically pleasing multi-colored patterns relevant to our culture.

The collection was inspired by the performances of athletes Serena Williams, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, and Sanya Richards. Check out more of this year’s gear below; it is set to release online and in a select few Nike retailers on Martin Luther King Day (January 18th).

Nike supports many national, and local organizations that cater to black youth. The Black History Month collection, in particular, financially supports Nike’s Ever Higher Fund, which brings mentorship and sports to black youth.
