As much as we all love Twitter, it can be a haven of misinformation at times. On Friday, June 24, a video surfaced of NBA player Kyrie Irving on a yacht with non-melanated women, and soon enough the narrative changed to the NBA champ barring black women from his boat, which he later denied.

On Saturday, How to Get Away with Murder star Billy Brown was the latest victim in the cycle. Somehow, a Google screenshot surfaced of Brown’s real age being 67. There aren’t many sources online of Brown’s age, not even on our favorite source of reference, Wikipedia.

Move over Angela Bassett. In a matter of hours, Brown became the unofficial spokesperson for “black don’t crack.”

After Brown’s supposed age started making waves, everyone began hacking his Wikipedia page to poke fun.

Some how the 40-something actor from Inglewood was now 67 and from Nigeria.

For those of you who think Brown is actually 67 years old, here is a recent interview he did with Jimmy Kimmel, saying he graduated high school in 1988. This would make him a far cry from almost 70.

Looks like we’ve got to double and triple check these sources!
