Former presidential candidate Rick Santorum gave a talk at Vanderbilt University about the dangers of ‘safe spaces’ on Tuesday. He couldn’t help but engage in dog-whistle politics and tie in his bigotry regarding Islam. Unable to ask his question during the general talk, Huffington Post blogger and sophomore Hamzah Raza confronted the former senator directly after the talk.
