This week’s episode of Atlanta was said by many to be its best yet. Even if you don’t think it’s the best you’ve seen so far from the series, you still can’t deny the sheer creativity of Episode 7.
This episode featured a “show within a show” concept, as Paper Boi was a guest on Montague, a talk show on the fictional Black American Network. It featured Paper Boi discussing race and sexuality in hip-hop with it’s Don Lemon-esque host, portrayed by Underground’s Alano Miller. There was even a segment of the show where a person, played by viral star Nileseyy Niles, found out he was “transracial” (we’re looking at you Dolezals of the world) & is a 35-year-old white man in a black teen’s body.

But one of the most intriguing parts of the episode came in the form of a faux commercial. This episode was embedded with comedic commercials, featuring brands like Dodge, Arizona and Swisher Sweets. One of the commercial parodies was for a cereal called “Coconut Crunchos,” which seems to resemble commercials from cereal companies like Trix and Lucky Charms.
In it, three black kids are in a temple-like location with their cereal when a wolf comes to steal their cereal. Then, out of nowhere, a cop appears and tackles the wolf. The kids tell the officer to leave the wolf alone and it’s just cereal, as they pull out a phone to record the situation.
Twitter was all for it.

The ever-so clever Twitter account for the series let us know the status of the wolf’s case:
a wolf wrong for trying to steal cereal, but he plea bargained down to possession of spoon & milk with intent to munch #AtlantaFX
