A film that doesn’t need much of an intro around here…

As a sponsor of the upcoming 2011 Blogging While Brown Conference this weekend in Los Angeles, Sony’s Screen Gems will be holding a private screening of their much talked about “aliens attack the hood” flick, Attack the Block this Friday, July 8th, for attendees of the conference.

How do you get in? You have to RSVP. And you can do so by emailing screening@bloggingwhilebrown.com.

And, by the way, shuttle service from the conference hotel to the screening venue (Arclight Beach Cities at 831 S. Nash St, El Segundo, CA) will also be provided by Screen Gems.

I’ll be in Miami for the American Black Film Festival from tomorrow through Sunday, so I won’t be able to attend the conference this year, though I plan to in the future; maybe next year. But if you are attending, and you haven’t seen the film, be sure to RSVP now, and give it a look.

I’ve seen it; my review again HERE.
