A Black pro-Trump commentator on CNN has denounced the network, citing race as the reason he won’t be returning.

Paris Dennard, a Republican who has been outspoken about his support for the 45th president, had a one-year contract with the news channel. The contract expired in November, and the network didn't renew it. A CNN spokesperson confirmed Dennard is “no longer with the network.”

The 36-year-old was suspended from the network in August after an article from The Washington Post alleged he made sexual comments and gestures toward multiple women while working at Arizona State University in 2014.

In a column for Breitbart, Dennard claimed his race and his support of President Trump as reasons he’s currently being attacked, phrasing it as “a coordinated attempt by faceless adversaries to destroy me personally and professionally.”

“CNN’s own ‘investigation’ could not substantiate The Post‘s claims. But what was even more egregious than The Post‘s behavior was CNN’s blatantly disparate treatment of their only paid Black, Republican, Trump-supporting political commentator — compared to a host of others who have never been immediately suspended and denied an opportunity to be booked on their network,” said the Republican pundit.

Dennard also claimed a heated segment with former CIA official Phil Mudd, which gained the attention of Donald Trump, set forth the “coordinated” attack.

CNN also recently fired Marc Lamont Hill after he demonstrated his support for Palestine during a United Nations speech.

“I will not be silenced, no matter what CNN, The Washington Post, or any other fake news story tries to imply through their own prejudiced actions,” Dennard said in the Breitbart column.
