We’ve all been in this situation — you’ve just seen an incredible movie and you want to tell your friends about it without spilling too many details about the plot. That was the premise of the hashtag “#ExplainAFilmPlotBadly” that began trending on Twitter over the weekend. It started out with mildly funny jokes that described Titantic as an Ice Bucket challenge gone wrong, but it quickly spiraled out of control once Black Twitter hijacked the topic. After getting through this post, you might never be able to view these movies the same way again.
