nullWhen it rains, it pours. Just today we posted about Cee-Lo Green's voice role as Murray the Mummy in the upcoming animated film Hotel Transylvania. The singer/record producer can also currently be seen as a judge on NBC's music competition The Voice as well as in the feature film Sparkle.

We've now learned that Green will make his television acting debut in a new scripted TV show for NBC, based on his real-life relationship with his ex-wife. Deadline reports that the network has signed a first-look deal with Green for the multi-camera comedy, which will be written by Ali Leroi (Everybody Hates Chris, Are We There Yet?).

Green will star as a fictional version of himself, juggling a thriving music career and busy home life. He executive produces the project along with Leroi, Primary Wave TV's Andrew Jameson, Primary Wave Music CEO Larry Mestel and Happy Madison's Doug Robinson.
