While he’s probably best known for his role as Dennis “Cutty” Wise on HBO’s The Wire, Chad Coleman has almost two decades of professional acting experience under his belt. He’ll add another line to his resume this November, when he stars in FOX TV’s new family sitcom I Hate My Teenage Daughter.

Also starring in I Hate My Teenage Daughter will be Australian actress Aisha Dee (The Saddle Club, Dead Gorgeous), in what appears to be her first role in an American series.

The show has a simple enough premise:

I Hate My Teenage Daughter stars Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran as two moms who are worried that their daughters (Kristi Lauren and Aisha Dee) are becoming mean girls.

Atlthough I can’t confirm it, from what I gather, Coleman will play the role of Gary, the father of Dee’s character, McKenzie.

I Hate My Teenage Daughter is scheduled to premiere Nov. 30, and will follow another new FOX show, the Simon Cowell produced X Factor, on Wednesday nights.
