nullWith just 4 days left until the end of his Indiegogo campaign to help finance "Miles Ahead" his long-in-gestation Miles Davis project, 72% of the campaign’s $325,000 goal has been reached, meaning, with just 4 days to go, another $92,000 is needed for success.

And likely to help inspire potential contributors to give and help the campaign reach its goal, Cheadle has released a first-look at himself in costume, as Miles Davis, in the forthcoming film. The full image is below.

Emayatzy Corinealdi and Keith Stanfield have both joined the film’s cast, alongside Cheadle and Ewan McGregor.

The story follows Miles Davis (played by Cheadle, who’s also directing), after his record label steals his comeback album before he’s ready for it to be heard, as he hunts it down with the help of a music journalist (played by Ewan McGregor).

If you haven’t yet read our interview with Don Cheadle about the project, you should. He fills in several blanks that you’ll appreciate, if it’s a film you’re excited about. Read it here.

Cheadle is producing the film through his Crescendo Productions banner, along with Bifrost’s Daniel Wagner, and Robert Ogden Barnum. Also producing are Darryl Porter and Vince Wilburn on behalf of the Davis estate, Lenore Zerman and Pam Hirsch.
