With his Stephen Lloyd Jackson's last film, the acclaimed award-winning 2011 drama David Is Dying, behind him, the writer/director is moving ahead with his next feature, said to be part of his "Sex And Race" trilogy of films, titled Sable Fable.
The project was actually announced in March, but I only learned of it over the weekend.
Its synopsis reads:
Sable Fable is a beautiful story exploring the complex psychology of love, sex and ethnicity through three very different couples whose lives intertwine with one another through a series of unfortunate events.
Little else is available about the project, I know that it's in its early stages of development, and has yet to be cast. But we'll keep you updated as things progress.
