nullMake that one more black person – "Everybody Hates Chris" star Tyler James Williams. He joins a cast that already includes Danai Gurira, Chad Coleman, Lawrence Gilliard Jr, Sonequa Martin-Green and Seth Gilliam, who is also a new addition to the upcoming 5th season which premieres next month.

Details on just what character new addition Williams will play on the series are being kept underwraps for now, although THR does say that his character’s name is Noah. So we don’t know whether he’s being cast as a guest-star, in a recurring role or as a series regular.

We’ll certainly find out soon enough.

I should note that, as I recall, there isn’t a key character in the comic book series named Noah. But, as the show creators have already said in previous seasons, they aren’t entirely married to the original "Walking Dead" source material. So Noah could be a character they created just for the TV series, or Noah could be the name that they want us to run with for now, throwing fans of the comics off course, until the character’s real name is eventually revealed.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 returns next month, with one question we’ll all be wondering: how long will all these black characters survive, before becoming zombie sandwiches?
