Here’s a trailer for a new feature documentary from the Red Bull Music Academy in New York, titled What Difference Does It Make, which explores the challenges artists face living lives as musicians.
Featuring James Murphy, Erykah Badu, Lee “Scratch“ Perry, Q-Tip, Philip Glass, Debbie Harry, Brian Eno, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Richie Hawtin, and dozens of others, the documentary, directed by award-winner Ralf Schmerberg, seeks to go beyond music, and ask questions about life itself, as artists discuss what it’s like to devote one’s life to making music. It marks the 15th anniversary of the Red Bull Music Academy.
The full-length film drops February 18, for FREE, on http://redbullmusicacademy.com. Sounds and looks good to me.
