With just about 3 weeks left in Don Cheadle’s “Miles Ahead” Indiegogo campaign, 45% of the $325,000 sought has been raised; or just under $147,000 (as of the time of this post). Certainly a tidy sum, but obviously only about half of what the campaign is asking for. And with 21 days to go before it ends, Mr Cheadle has decided to up the perks ante a bit, and hopefully further entice those with the means, and the interest in the project (especially those who have yet to make a contribution) to help chip away at the remaining $178,000 needed.
Two new amazing perks are being added today, each entirely new contribution levels.
The first includes iPhone covers designed exclusively for this campaign. One iPhone case features Miles’ artwork (including his signature), the other has the “Miles Ahead” logo. You’ll also get a private pre-theatrical streaming link!!!
And the second is an original sketch by Miles Davis himself (14 x 17 inches), which the Miles Davis Estate has generously donated to the campaign (limit 1 of course), which comes with a “Miles” hoodie and more.
Full details on both follow below:

1 – MILES AHEAD iPhone Cover $55 (Unlimited)

Cheadle is producing the film through his Crescendo Productions banner, along with Bifrost’s Daniel Wagner, and Robert Ogden Barnum. Also producing are Darryl Porter and Vince Wilburn on behalf of the Davis estate, Lenore Zerman and Pam Hirsch.
If you haven’t yet read our interview with Don Cheadle about the project, you should. He fills in several blanks that you’ll appreciate – those who are excited about the film (and why wouldn’t you be?). Read that interview here.
