Check out this short video documentary which takes viewers behind the scenes of Ghostface Killah’s Twelve Reasons To Die graphic novel, produced by his fellow Wu-Tang Clan member RZA.
The obvious first question I always think of when I learn of these non-film creations that lend themselves well to film adaptations, is, are there plans for the graphic novel to become a movie? – especially as graphic novels are routinely optioned in Hollywood these days, and also now that RZA has one studio feature film credit to his director resume, and at least one graphic novel already optioned.
Artists and media platforms continue to be fluid.
Ghostface Killah’s Twelve Reasons To Die tells the story of “one vengeful soul hunting the 12 most powerful crime lords in the world.”
Artists enlisted to bring Mr Killah’s vision to life include: Jim Mahfood (Tank Girl), Paolo Rivera (Daredevil), and Ramon Perez (Wolverine & The X-Men), among others.
Issue 1 of what will be a 6-part series will be available for purchase on May 29.
