nullFor all you Angelinos who read this site, here's an opportunity for 20 of you to see the 2011 SXSW award-winning drama/thriller (Evan Ross – Breakthrough Performance), and Boston Film Festival award recipient (Best Director for Aimee Lagos, Best Actress for Brittany Snow, & Best Film), titled 96 Minutes.

David Oyelowo, Christian Serratos and J. Michael Trautmann, amongst others, also co-star in.

The film was acquired last fall by ARC Entertainment and XLrator Media (North American rights specifically) in a partnership that will see it make its theatircal premiere next week Friday, April 27th.

But 20 of you can see it about a week early!

First a recap… synopsis reads:

96 Minutes tells the harrowing story of a carjacking and four kids caught in the terrifying maelstrom of one night. Intercutting between the car and the beginning of that day, we follow the separate stories of each kid – where they come from, who they are, and how they all ended up in one car on this fateful night. Their worlds are starkly divided along class lines, but on this one night, their lives slam headlong into each other. Not all of them are innocent. Not all of them survive. These 96 minutes will change everything.

The film is director Aimee Lagos' feature film debut.

A private pre-release screening of the film will be held this Thursday, April 19 at 7pm at Wilshire Screening Room, on 8670 Wilshire Blvd., Ground Floor, Los Angeles. And we've been allotted 20 seats/screening passes for that specific screening, so if you're at all interested in the film, and you'd like to attend, all you have to do is send me an email to obensont@gmail.com, with the words "96 Minutes Giveaway" in the subject box, along with your full name in the body of the email.
