Casting for Steven Spielberg’s Abraham Lincoln film continues to fill out, with the most recent announcement including Gloria Reuben as one of a handful of actors offered roles in the project, although, at least in her case, what part exactly she’ll play hasn’t been revealed.

The multi-Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award nominee (she’s won 4 SAG awards), was last seen on screen in 2008, in an indie comedy/drama titled The Understudy.

According to the press release, other actors said to be in negotiations to co-star in the Spielberg project, which already will star Daniel Day Lewis as the title character, and Sally Field, include Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, and several others.

Principal photography is scheduled to start this fall, with a fall 2012 release planned.
