Memphis hip-hop artist GloRilla is the newest face of American clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger’s latest collaboration with luxury streetwear brand Aries.

Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, Tommy Hilfiger combined with Hip-Hop and Pop artists who heavily influenced the masses. For years, most impactful artists like Britney Spears, Aaliyah and Snoop Dogg wore the famous and iconic apparel line. Now, GloRilla will join the iconic list of celebrity faces sporting red, white and blue.

“I’m a big Aaliyah fan, and I love what she did with them. I’m part of keeping a legacy going,” she said.

“I feel highly favored because it could have been anyone else but me. I gotta make sure I keep it going. Memphis is getting the notoriety it deserves,” she said. “It’s refreshing to me because I love the old-school and being able to bring it to my generation.”

The Tommy x Aries collection will feature Oversized T-shirts and two-tone jeans with pops of neon-colored designs throughout various pieces. The collaboration not only features youthful curated designs, but the legendary Tommy logo will be recrafted by Aries.

Aries was founded by Sofia Prantera and has turned into a London fashion staple line with its eye-catching ‘90s skate culture designs.

To add to the streetwear collaboration, the campaign’s commercial includes an instrumental version of GloRilla’s “Unh Unh.” The remixed track also features verses by U.K. grime artist Novelist and Aries family Kirbs and 5EB.
