You can’t keep those Golden State Warriors down!

Most athletes would be thrilled to have had the win the 2017 NBA champs had this year.

But there’s something about those Warriors — though happy with the championship, they aren’t satisfied with basketball domination.

Steph Curry wants to tear up the golf course.

And according to The Wall Street Journal, Andre Iguodala is coming for Blavity and every other online media platform.

Iguodala has apparently inked a deal with news start-up Cheddar for his very own interview/variety show.

The program, set to be titled Evenings with Andre, is currently being shopped around to all your favorite streaming giants, from the Sense8-cancelling Netflix to the Transparent-championing Amazon.

Even if the streaming houses aren’t interested, the show will proceed.

Cheddar has its own streaming platform, and also broadcasts its programs on Facebook and Twitter. So, worst comes to worst for Iguodala, his show will be transmitted to you lovely viewers through those channels.

Too, this show is just the beginning for Iguodala. It’s being made through the Warrior’s production company, called The Freetown Project, which is billed as a “platform for athletes, entertainers and people from all walks of life to express alternative voices and perspectives.”

Which, of course means that more content like this show is on the way.

“There’s going to be a time when my basketball career is over, and I’m going to have aspirations outside of basketball,” Iguodala told the Journal.

He sees this show as a way to network as well as to entertain. He plans to interview key members of the Silicon Valley set on the show — people who could be very helpful in launching the second phase of his career.

Iguodala is no stranger to the tech world either — he’s invested in several start-ups, and reportedly has a very diverse portfolio that includes current golden child fintech and more traditional industries like home goods.

The player’s interest in business will likely be part of the show; as will his interest in food.

“I’m a foodie,” he said, explaining that he’d like to have a cooking segment on the show, “If you look at a lot of the diseases the body goes through and the reasons, the majority of it has to do with our diet.”

The show is set to be produced during the NBA’s offseason; Cheddar has yet to announce a premiere date.
