For you Generation Xer's out there who grew up watching Fat Albert cartoons on TV, and still miss them terribly, you will be able to soon own everything and everything Fat Albert.

Shout Factory, which has been releasing DVD collectors sets of favorite old TV and cartoon shows from the 60's to the 80's, has announced that, on July 31st, they will be releasing the ultimate 16-DVD disc collection title, Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids: The Complete Serries.

The set will include all 36 of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids episodes, 24 episodes of The New Fat Albert Show, and all 60 episodes of The Adventures of Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids.

Extras features will include audio commentaries by, who else, Bill Cosby, a documentary on the history of Fat Albert, and a 20-page book featuring an essay by Dr. Gordon Berry, who was the show's educational advisor.

That should be enough Fat Albert for your ass.

And not to worry, the 2004 live action Fat Albert movie is NOT included.
