After taping a therapy session with Iyanla Vanzant of Iyanla: Fix My Life , Vanzant may be seeking legal action against the Braxton sisters and their production company.

Tensions rose when Tamar Braxton publicly stated that she was featured on an episode of Vanzant’s show, The Jasmine Brand reports. But Vanzant actually appeared on Braxton Family Values in order to perform a group therapy session. In addition to Tamar's seeming falsity, she and her assistant also called Vanzant "fake" and a "fraud" on social media – a character judgement that could greatly impact the credibility of Vanzant’s show if the accusations are to be believed. She is now allegedly considering taking legal action over the incident.

“It’s her duty to protect her reputation, brand and OWN’s brand,” an unnamed source told The Jasmine Brand. “At this point, this is defamation and there should be consequences.”

The Braxton family’s relationship has long been strained. However, when Vanzant showed up for filming, she found that some of the Braxton sisters extended their disrespect to guests as well.

“Tell me what’s going on because the agreement we made was to be here at 11,” Vanzant asked the family in a video. “I’ve been sitting downstairs waiting for you because you weren’t here… I’m not going to participate in this. I need order… I need respect. When someone dishonors me, I don’t let it go on 55 times. I call it right then.”

Tamar tried to interrupt, beginning with, “That’s what I’ve been saying,” before Vanzant cut her off.

“No,” Vanzant responded. “Your behavior diminishes your message.”

Whether the two reality stars will meet in court or not has yet to be reported, but viewers can watch the tumultuous two-part finale of “Braxton Family Values” on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4.
