And who says black films don’t travel… *wink*

Jumping The Broom will open in theaters in the UK this Friday, June 10th, so all our wonderful readers across the pond will be able to see the film for themselves, after likely feeling somewhat left out of all the discussion we’ve had about the film on this site, and across the black blogosphere.

The film has made over $36 million to date, after 5 weeks in theaters. Not bad at all, given its relatively tiny budget. Depending on what was spent on marketing, I think it’s safe to say that the film is a commercial success. And it’s not even on DVD/VOD/Blu-ray yet.
