nullKevin Hart is having a very good year, in case you haven’t been paying attention to what seem to have become monthly announcements of new projects he’s attached to.

This time, Hart has signed up to star opposite NBA star LeBron James in a comedy feature titled Ballers, which is set up at Universal Pictures, with Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Michael Rosenberg producing.
Ballers will follow a man (Hart) who really wants to be known as something other than the brother of an NBA superstar (James), and gets his chance to prove himself when he and some friends attend a fantasy basketball camp in Miami. Naturally, hijinx and hilarity ensue.

In addition to co-starring in the film, Hart will also co-write the script with Joey Wells, Chris Spencer and Harry Ratchford
No director attached yet, but the plan is to start production next summer, to fit LeBron James’ off-season schedule.
The superstar athlete has apparently set out to conquer another world, after having done that in the NBA, with 2 back-to-back championships.
Earlier this year, Sir James teamed up with Tom WernerMike O’Malley, Maverick Carter and Paul Wachter to develop a half-hour scripted comedy series titled Survivor’s Remorse, which will lean on LeBron’s own real-life experiences as someone who “made it,” as well as his point of view as source material.
The producers of that proposed series promised an honest and compelling series that will highlight the humor, pain and complexity to characters we all hear/read about, and whose lives we all watch from a distance.

No ETA yet on the potential series, nor what actors might be in consideration to star.

As for Hart, did I mention he’s having the best year ever? Most recently, he set up an untitled divorced-couple comedy at the house where Shonda Rhimes calls home – ABC. He’ll be co-starring with Will Ferrell in a comedy titled Get Hard; he’s starring alongside veterans Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone in a film called Grudge Match, in which he plays a fight promoter who gets both old men to return to the ring; there’s the remake of the 1986 rom-com, About Last Night, starring Hart, Michael EalyJoy Bryant and Regina Hall; Also Ride Along, starring Hart and Ice Cube in the action comedy; there’s also The Wedding Ringer, which stars Hart and Josh Gad, in which Hart plays a charismatic guy who provides best man services for socially-challenged guys, who can’t get anyone to stand by them on their wedding days; and there’s the sequel to Think Like A Man.

On the small screen, you can catch him on BET’s Real Husbands Of Hollywood.

But there’s still more…

It’s race between Hart, Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson for the hardest working man in showbiz today award!
